Minutes:
Magnetometer is ready only waiting for heater. We need some manpower on calculation of signals due to moving particles through coil, or particles depositing energy on coil. (Comment The most sensitive magnetometer can detect 10000 static polarized neutron). COSIKA has threshold of 10MeV. G4 maybe valid for keV. Need dedicate simulation or calculation of thermal-fast neutron spectrum at sea level. (MCMP?) We need to consult with electronics experts about coil and L/C circuit. We can use two types of vessels for prototype testing: one with dewar and coil immersed in LN2, another with dedicated design of LN2-driven cooling. Former is for electro-magnetic signal testing, and latter for testing its response to radioactive sources. For the vessel with dedicated design of LN2-driven cooling, it is suggested by vessel company that we can use thermal glue or ceramics for making thermal contact between cold head and coil. It was suggested that we can use ceramic for the supporter of coil wires, which can also make good thermal contact with cold head. It was suggested to have a proposal (paper) submitted to arXiv before we apply for funding next May. We aim at having the draft due next March. It was mentioned that using different type of magnetometer may have different sensitivity in monopole search and axion detection. We will need an analysis for the optimization, and may need to determine which one is our primary physics goal.
